Cleaning Up

Simon can't stand if something is out of place, so crumbs on the floor after breakfast are a definite no-no. Here Simon takes on the dustbuster...

20 months old

This was a big month for Simon! He is still coming out with lots of new words--current favorites are Mama, Dada, down and we are STILL stuck on lights. In fact, it was the frustration of seeing a light turned off that prompted Simon to say his first 2 word" sentence"...Light Out!

We had a visit from Grandma, which was fun. We went to Gymboree, the playground, visited my work and Mom and I even took some time for ourselves by dropping Simon at daycare and going to a movie.

And a slightly belated milestone...Simon is FINALLY ok with the big bathtub! Now he loves splashing around at bathtime, and we bought him some markers for the bathtub to make it even more fun. Of course, the best thing to draw on is his own belly!

Easter

We had a fun Easter...we took Simon to the Children's Museum for an egg hunt on Saturday morning. They had tons of eggs all over the place, so he didn't have to fight with the bigger kids for them. He didn't quite get the idea, but he did pick up about 6 of them while he played.

Then on Sunday we had PEPS and all 7 kids were there, so we got a few pictures. They are so grown up, can't believe they will all be two years old in a few months!

And then we gave Simon his easter basket...he got Playdough, his very own water squirter (because he loves to play with our big one), a Benjamin Bunny book and eggs filled with raisins, goldfish, gummy bears, and his new favorite, MnMs. We had a bit of a tantrum when we took them away after he had a few!

Happy Easter!

First School Pictures!

Simon's daycare did class pictures, below are his individual and class pictures. He wasn't having the best hair day and still had a huge bruise on his forehead, but we think he's pretty cute anyway.
