Family Photo Shoot
For the first time ever, we hired a professional photographer to take some family pictures. We are saving some for various holiday-related needs, but wanted to share the others. Enjoy!

Yo Gabba Gabba
Yo Gabba Gabba was a favorite show of Simon's when he was around 2 years old, but his obsession waned at some point. Now it's Nate's favorite show, and Simon has renewed interest as well. I found PJs for each of them with their respective favorite characters on them, and the boys had a lot of fun tonight getting into the songs and dances!
Check out their take on Wiggle Wiggle, featuring Simon as Plex and Nate as Brobee!

Video Catch-Up
I wanted to share a few videos...the first is just a quick one of Nate walking around the musical fountain at Seattle Center, just being cute and bopping to the music.
Here are the boys working together on their treasure.
And finally, an awesome interview with Simon about his current career, likely driven by his recent trip to check out my office.

Boys' Weekend
I was laid up with the stomach flu this past weekend, so Matt and the boys got out and had fun around the city.
They went down to Seattle Center and checked out the musical fountain, the Experience Music Project building and even rode the Seattle Monorail!
On Sunday, they went to the Sculpture Park, where they also had a great view of the piers and Puget Sound.
Thanks for the time to recuperate, Matt!

Silly Nate
Nate is speaking and interacting so much these days...here are a couple of funny moments with him.
He wanted to do makeup tonight, but once he caught sight of himself in the camera, he was entranced.
And here he is giving a shout out to most of our family members!

Trip to Stocker Farms
We just had a beautiful fall weekend and made the most of it with a trip to a pumpkin patch and farm. We went to a place about 45 minutes away called Stocker Farms, and did tons of fun fall activities. We went on a hayride, where they shot off some pumpkins from a cannon at a stop halfway through, Simon jumped on a huge bouncy pillow-like structure, Nate played with some hula hoops, we all picked out pumpkins and lots more!
This was a bumpy little ride that Simon, Nate and I went on, pulled by a tractor.
Playing in corn kernels!
Hayride!
Pumping water
And a couple of videos of Simon having fun at the farm:

More fun at home
I have the feeling a lot of my posts will be starting this way over the next 6 months, as it seems that the cold rain is officially here.
Anyway...we started making forts and fires this week, and it's been nice and cozy! Check out our first attempt at a family fort:
I caught Nate on camera saying a new phrase that melts my heart:
And here he is imitating Matt's awesome dance moves:
