November Part II

We got to visit Jess and Peter in NYC and meet our sweet new nephew, Bode. We also got to see Jess and Bode again when they came down to visit us in NJ. Both boys thought Bode was pretty cute, but Nate was totally enamoured.

We also celebrated Nate's birthday in NJ and he arrived home to some great gifts from Nana and Papa.

And when we got home, Simon got his much-anticipated glasses!

November Part I

I've been slacking on November posts, big time, so I'm posting 2 big posts with lots of pictures and not so much narration. Here's part I.

This was such a sweet moment...Nate singing Twinkle Twinkle with me after his bath.

Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year! The boys were Batman and Robin, which was pretty cute, if I may say so myself. 

They wore their costumes to school all day and we met them there for the annual Harvest Festival. There we encountered a bevy of Batmans...Simon was one of 4 in the Wombat Room!

After a whirlwind visit to each of the classrooms, we headed out and over to a nearby Ballard for trick or treating along Market Street. 

Believe it or not, this was our first time taking either of the boys trick or treating. Simon got into it right away, and was astounded and thrilled when people kept dropping more candy into his bag. Nate took some time to warm up, but then really got into it too.

 

Finally, we headed home, since even superheroes need to take a break and watch some Yo Gabba Gabba.
