While Grandpa was visiting (more on that soon), he came with us for a big milestone--Simon's first movie in a theater! Aunt Karyn volunteered to stay home with Nate, and the rest of us went to the movies. Monsters, Inc, was back in the theaters, and since Simon has seen it several times, we thought that was a good place to start.
We were a little nervous about him not being able to sit through the whole thing, but he was great! He was so into it...he shared popcorn and Milk Duds and only got antsy towards the end. He and Matt took a quick walk and came back and finished up the movie. All in all, it was a big success!
Afterwards, we played a claw game and won him a red ball and then he and I took some pictures in a photo booth. Here are the shots we got, plus his ticket stub!
